the most inspirational woman alive.  katie is a former model she was sexually attacked for 8 hours and held hostage in a hotel room by her then boyfriend (danny), she went home and told no one  after a while danny convinced her to leave her home to read messages hed left her on her facebook account at a local internet cafe, he rang her to ask her where she was and what she was wearing, just then a man approached her he had his arms stretched out holding a coffee cup and katie reached into her bag to give the man money as she thought he was a begger, he threw the liquid at her face, it was a form of acid, katie could feel the acid burning ‘eating away like a disease’. The attack was set up by danny when she woke up in hospital after the her skin graft she wrote notes saying ‘kill me’ when she saw her scared face for the first time she wanted to smash the mirror on her face and rip it up, she has nightmares every night and refused to leave the house alone for 2 years. despite this katie is going strong, she has a foundation to help burnt victims.  shes a truly inspiring woman.
